In February 2023, founder Natalie Rowland and VP & Scripps College chapter president Cain paid a visit to the residents at Concord Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Brooklyn, New York. Volunteers had to test negative before entering and wear masks, except when singing. The music and the gesture warmed hearts on that winter day, and the city seemed to become a little softer.
